I think I found Za’heer’s personal theme song.

Sorry not sorry.

Someone made this.

I just saw someone legitimately calling Legend of Korra a magical girl show. Ohhh no. Oh HELL no. Keep that CESSPOOL away from our perfect genre!

I’ve had my gripes with LoK, but: is this a troll, or just a four-plus elitist?

Just draw some romantic thing for P’herr<333

You shameless P’heer-monger.

Gonna be out of town for a while. No time to assemble a rudimentary queue, but will have hubby’s laptop with me and may be able to blog some.

prisoncellmako:

Okay, so I’m wondering: What if someone else had saved P’li from that warlord? Someone that didn’t have the ideals and intentions that Zaheer had? Is who P’li is a result of her actual personality, or did she adapt to Zaheer and The Red Lotus, too? I want to think that if someone else had saved her, maybe she would not have turned to what she became. Maybe Zaheer fueled her hate for people in positions of power by using her hate for the warlord who used her to get her on his side for The Red Lotus. I’m starting to believe that the only reason Zaheer saved her was because she was a powerful weapon and asset to The Red Lotus, and romance came after.

(Let the record state that I think P’heer was legit, but would not be surprised in the least if he was a rotten influence, the weeablew bastard.)

And I’ve sorta kinda written snippets of this. Still haven’t decided what her cousin’s name is. (I’m combining multiple AUs with it, and her cousin ties back into the main plot.) The phrase “dammit, P’Li, why were you evocative?” comes to mind.

Anonymous said: Great blog. I'm vegan, but people can eat what they want to eat, and anyone who tries to police that is an asshole.

Oooo-wee, the steppelords are gonna stampede. No one they hate more than a vegan who’s not in their herd.

Wait, no; looks like they already started.

Y’know, your fanfic is an interesting crossover and basic premise

However…seriously. You copy-paste shamelessly from the wiki (I know this because I recognized some of my edits) and even spoiled an important plot point by doing such. And if you’ve gotta push your ‘ships that hard—and badmouth characters who “get in the way,” in the bargain; and after claiming not to dislike them, no less—it’s probably a warning flag.

VEGAN, BECAUSE MY BODY ISNT A GRAVEYARD

In the spirit of Halloween, I feel like this would encourage people to not be vegan. Who wouldn’t want their body to be a graveyard? Also it’s metal as fuck.
-Sgt XIII

My body is a graveyard. A massive graveyard. I want blood and guts and chocolate cake.

I love how this always goes. Some vegan tries to be a very squeamish person’s idea of being ghoulish, and all us scavengers become cheerfully macabre.
That said: blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth!

That said: although I think Su and Baatar probably have a hairdresser on the payroll, I’m guessing Huan frequents them more often than Opal. Because look at his damn hair.

flameoflamehead:

can we stop with all these “after jinora cuts her hair to get her tattoos she’s super self-conscious” headcanons because honestly i think it’s extremely out of character for her

jinora’s a really strong young woman who knows exactly what she wants. She’s practical, smart, and unwavering in the face of danger.

I don’t think cutting her hair would affect her that much.

Now, Opal might be a bit self-conscious about shaving her head; she may be an airbender, but she’s also a well-off Earth Kingdom girl whose parents likely had a hairdresser on the payroll. (This is why that picture of Bolin and Korra reassuring a newly-tattooed Opal gives me life.)

Jinora, tho? Hell to the no.

jojomarienies:

IF BOOK 4 IS SET IN THE FIRE NATION DOES THAT MEAN MAKO AND BOLIN WILL LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR MOTHER AND HER FAMILY????

I really, really hope so. But the fact that Bryke made jokes about her not even having a canon name kinda makes me wonder if they’re gonna bother.

Why do i feel like calling bullllllshiiiittttt? Btw HI SGT AND ROSE OR WHOEVER ELSE IS HELPING!
(submitted by bowtiesntrainers)
I vaguely remember debunking this ages ago. Something about meat being calorically denser than broccoli. I’d like to see the difference in the amount of protein based on grams of meat and broccoli, not calories.
-Sgt XIII

I’ve seen so many different iterations of this disingenuous thing.
And yes, beef is calorically denser. We’re talking about the protein content of a small bite of steak versus that of a whole plate of broccoli. (Of course, radveegs aren’t above trying to pin the calorie up as an evil anti-nutrient.)
And what is it with vegans and their protein obsession—to say nothing of their insistence on projecting it onto us g’naak—anyway?
